Trust
Trust & Safety
A track record is only valuable if people believe the process behind it. This page explains how Fan Club Z approaches moderation, reporting, settlement fairness, disputes, and account integrity at the platform level. For personal habits that keep participation healthy, see Responsible Participation — that guide is complementary, not a duplicate of this one.
What “trust” means here
On Fan Club Z, trust is operational: Can a stranger settle your question from the written words alone? Does settlement ignore popularity and private pressure? Are abusive accounts removable without silence from the community? Do voids protect people when reality is too messy for a clean call? We design for those outcomes, not for slogans.
Moderation posture
Moderation exists to protect participants and the integrity of the record — not to police unpopular opinions about sports or culture. We focus on harm patterns: harassment, scams, child safety issues, intentionally vague or already-known “predictions,” coordinated pool manipulation, and settlement abuse. The Acceptable Use policy is the community baseline; the Prediction Standards are the market-quality baseline.
Actions can include content removal, voiding predictions, reversing creator earnings, temporary restrictions, or permanent account closure depending on severity and history. We aim to be firm on integrity issues and proportionate on one-off mistakes that show good faith.
Reporting and blocking
In-product reporting and blocking are the fastest safety tools available to you. Reporting flags content or behavior for review. Blocking immediately reduces what you see from an account and helps our team spot patterns when multiple people take the same action. Use both when something feels abusive, misleading, or unsafe — including commercial scams that impersonate support.
When you report a settlement concern, include the prediction link, the exact wording, the named source, and what that source showed. Evidence beats volume. For intake tips, use Contact or the Help Center.
Settlement fairness
Settlement is the trust engine of the product. Outcomes follow the exact wording of the question and the reliable public source named at creation — not personal preference, majority stake direction, or after-the-fact storytelling. Winners are paid from the losing side of the pool under the published rules; winners are not taxed on their own stake. Fees, when present, are constrained so they cannot exceed what is available.
When a fair call is impossible — cancelled events, irreparably vague wording, outcomes that were already known — voiding and returning stakes is the correct outcome. A forced call that half the community rejects damages the platform more than an honest void. See How settlement builds trust for the design rationale.
Disputes and remedies
Disputes happen even in good systems. Our bias is: clarify against the written standard first; void when ambiguity cannot be resolved fairly; reverse or withhold creator earnings when creators caused the failure; and document patterns that suggest abuse. We do not “split the difference” in ways that invent a third outcome the question never allowed.
Not every disagreement is a dispute worth reopening. If the source clearly matches the wording, popularity alone is not grounds for reversal. If the wording was vague, the right remedy may be voiding future similar markets and educating the creator — not rewriting history to match whoever complained first.
Account integrity
One person, one good-faith identity. Multi-accounting to evade blocks, manufacture pool volume, farm incentives, or launder reputation breaks the premise of a performance identity. Credential sharing, automated abuse, and attempts to coerce unfair settlement are treated as serious integrity harms.
Protect your own account: Fan Club Z will never ask for passwords or recovery phrases. Phishing that impersonates moderation or “Zaurum rewards” is covered in Responsible Participation.
Creators and commercial integrity
Creators can earn from well-formed markets, which creates an incentive to scale quality — and a temptation to scale ambiguity. Trust & Safety therefore watches creator patterns: repeated voids, settlement complaints with merit, unlabeled commercial posts, or fee-farming structures. Earnings can be delayed, withheld, or reversed when standards fail. Advertising and sponsorships have their own transparency rules on Advertising; they never override settlement.
How this differs from Responsible Participation
Responsible Participation is written for you as a participant: keep it fun, stay in proportion, avoid scams, look out for others. This Trust & Safety page is written about the platform’s obligations and tools: moderation, disputes, integrity enforcement, and settlement design. Read both if you create markets or care deeply about how the record stays honest.
