About
About Fan Club Z
Fan Club Z is a social prediction platform where opinions become a visible, comparable track record. This page explains what we are building, who it is for, the principles we hold ourselves to, and — just as importantly — what Fan Club Z deliberately is not.
Our mission
Everyone has opinions about what will happen next — who wins the match, where a market closes, whether a long-promised announcement finally lands. Most of those opinions vanish the moment they are spoken, and there is rarely any honest record of who was actually right over time. Fan Club Z exists to change that. Our mission is to turn everyday predictions into a fair, legible history of accuracy, so that being consistently thoughtful is something you can see, build on, and be recognised for.
We think of it as reputation earned through participation quality. A single lucky call means little; a long record of clear, well-reasoned, correct predictions means a great deal. The platform is designed so that this kind of consistency — not volume, not noise, and not spending — is what compounds over time.
What Fan Club Z is
At its core, Fan Club Z is built around a simple unit: a prediction — a short, clear question about a future outcome that anyone can verify from a reliable public source once it closes. You browse predictions by category, take a position on the ones you understand, and see them settled strictly against the written question. Over time, your profile becomes a performance identity: an honest summary of how accurate and consistent you have been. You can read the full walkthrough in How Fan Club Z Works.
Participation is coordinated by an in-app currency called Zaurum, which represents balances, stakes, rewards, and creator earnings in one consistent unit. Keeping a single unit across the whole experience is what allows activity to roll up into a clean, comparable record. We explain it in full in Understanding Zaurum.
Who it is for
Fan Club Z is for people who enjoy following sports, markets, culture, and current events, and who like the challenge of calling outcomes before they happen. It is for the friend in every group chat who always has a take — and finally wants a fair way to prove it. It is for creators who can frame sharp, interesting questions that a community wants to weigh in on. You do not need to be an expert; you need curiosity and a willingness to put your reasoning on the record.
What Fan Club Z is not
We are deliberate about this. In the standard app experience — including the Apple App Store and Google Play builds — Zaurum is for entertainment and social participation, has no cash value, and is not redeemable for money. Fan Club Z predictions are a form of social participation and entertainment, not real-money gambling, betting, or a financial product, and nothing on the platform is financial, legal, or investment advice. If you want to understand the distinction in depth, we wrote a plain-language guide: Prediction, forecasting and gambling.
The principles we hold ourselves to
- Fairness first. Outcomes are settled against the exact wording of a question and the reliable source it named — never by personal preference, the popular side, or an explanation offered after the fact. When a question cannot be resolved fairly, it is voided and stakes are returned.
- Clarity over cleverness. A good prediction is one a stranger could verify without arguing. We invest heavily in standards, examples, and tooling that push questions toward being unambiguous.
- Trust is earned, not bought. Standing on Fan Club Z comes from a track record, not from how much you spend. Manipulation, multiple accounts, and bad-faith settlement are treated as serious harms.
- Safety and honesty. We build reporting and blocking into the product, we never ask for your password or recovery codes, and we try to say plainly what the platform is and is not.
How we keep it fair
Fairness is not a slogan here; it is a set of concrete rules. Predictions must name what is being predicted, when it closes, and where the result will be confirmed. Settlement follows the question literally. Winners are paid from the losing side of the pool and are never taxed on their own stake, and any fees are capped so they can never exceed what is actually available. Creators can earn from well-formed markets, but earnings can be withheld or reversed for vague questions, wrong settlement, or abuse. The complete ruleset lives in the Prediction Standards & Participation Guide.
