Glossary
The words you will come across on Fan Club Z, defined in plain language. New here? Start with How Fan Club Z Works.
Prediction
A short, clear question about a future outcome that can be verified from a reliable public source after it closes. Predictions are the core unit of Fan Club Z.
Position
The side of a prediction you choose when you take part — the outcome you believe will happen.
Stake
The amount of Zaurum you commit to your position. It reflects your confidence and is held against the prediction until it settles.
Zaurum
The native in-app participation currency used for balances, staking, rewards, refunds, and creator earnings. It has no cash value and is not redeemable for money in the standard app experience.
Participation pool
The combined Zaurum staked across all positions on a prediction. Winning positions are paid from the losing side of the pool.
Settlement
The process of resolving a prediction after it closes, strictly against the written question and the reliable public source it named.
Void
When a prediction cannot be resolved fairly — because it is unclear, unverifiable, already known, or cancelled — it is voided and stakes are returned.
Refund
The return of a stake to your balance, most commonly when a prediction is voided.
Creator
A user who creates predictions. Creators are responsible for writing clear, fair, verifiable questions and settling them honestly.
Creator earnings
Zaurum a creator can accrue from well-formed markets. Earnings may be withheld, deducted, or reversed if a prediction is voided, wrongly settled, or connected to abuse.
Fee (losing-side-funded)
A platform or creator fee taken at settlement, funded only from the losing-side stake and capped so it can never exceed what is available. Winners are never taxed on their own stake.
No-counterparty
A prediction where everyone chose the same outcome, so there is no losing side. No fee is taken and participants receive their stake back.
Performance identity
Your track record over time — how consistent and accurate your predictions have been — which other participants can evaluate.
Verification source
The reliable public place a prediction’s outcome will be confirmed, such as an official league result or a recognized exchange close.
Discover
The surface where you browse predictions by category, see participation pools, and find markets to take part in.
Report
A way to flag content that is abusive, misleading, or unsafe for review by the moderation team.
Block
A control that immediately stops you seeing a user’s predictions and comments and notifies moderation for review.
